In SnoCo, we are all in this together. Here, we’re happy to support our local businesses – and this year we’ve seen so many businesses return the kindness and support their communities. Our great business community has been lending a helping hand to nonprofits and organizations that need assistance, and we’re so happy to share their stories with you!
Here are a few examples of the heartwarming generosity of our SnoCo small businesses.
The Edmonds oyster and steakhouse is contributing free meals for students in the Edmonds School District, many of which rely on subsidized meals, and to our frontline healthcare workers. Seafood and steak – for a good cause? Count us in.
“During this unprecedented time, there is comfort in food…” and true, lasting comfort it is! Envelop your senses with delicious and caring meals from Chef Dane. Any day is a good day to order a to-go meal, but follow on Facebook to track their regular fundraising opportunities to make it a great day. Chef Dane supports organizations such as Girls on the Run of Snohomish County and Team Survivor Northwest Offers.
Over 50 years of local, fast and friendly service, Mr. Kleen is embedded in our community. The one-stop shop for your convenience needs is quickly becoming a must-stop for the holidays. Check out their community events page that talks about all the ways this neighborhood treasure gives back to our neighborhoods.
To make your event into something even more special, Evergreen Custom Gifting is a pillar in the celebration world. They give your gifts the added oomph, and now, they are giving back in new ways. In partnership with Kelly Lemon Photography, they’re stewarding donated care packages to frontline nurses and healthcare workers caring for patients battling COVID-19.
A note: please check each establishment’s schedule and safety precautions before you set off for an in-person visit. Thanks!
